I didn’t expect saffron sourcing to be this smooth. The pricing was fair, communication was quick, and the whole business designed with professionals in mind. We’ve ordered from their certified Negin batches a few times now and plan to keep it that way.

FAQs

Find answers to common questions about saffron price, wholesale sourcing, bulk quotes, and current batch availability.

What is Agroota?

Agroota is a platform connecting saffron buyers and farmers globally, ensuring reliable pricing, high-quality products, and seamless transactions.

What is the current price of saffron?

Based on the current indicative list, saffron ranges from about $240–$250/kg for White Saffron up to around $1,910–$2,250/kg for Super Negin. Final pricing depends on live batches and destination.

What is the saffron bulk price?

Indicative saffron bulk prices range from about $1,552–$1,605/kg for Pushali B to around $2,050–$2,170/kg for Royal Negin and $1,910–$2,250/kg for Super Negin.

What is the price of saffron per gram?

Most commercial saffron types range from about $1.49/g to $2.25/g when converted from kilogram pricing. White Saffron is lower, around $0.24–$0.25/g.

Why does saffron price change؟

Saffron price changes because of harvest conditions, supply, demand, origin, quality, available batches, and logistics. Since saffron is batch-based, prices can shift when stock changes.

Why is Super Negin more expensive than other saffron type?

Super Negin usually costs more because it has longer, cleaner red threads, strong visual appeal, and high demand among wholesale and export buyers.

What payment methods are accepted?

Agroota accepts payments through bank transfers and other direct deposit methods. Online payment options are not currently available.

Does saffron price vary by country?

Yes. Country-specific saffron prices can vary because of local stock, shipping time, customs, currency conditions, demand, and delivery requirements.
